Looking for jobs in primary schools and nurseries working with children? Confident with technology and computers?
Come and join us! ComputerXplorers South East Scotland is recruiting part time staff.
We are continually looking to recruit additional enthusiastic part-time staff to deliver our fun, educational, technology-led sessions across Edinburgh, East Lothian, West Lothian, Midlothian, Falkirk and the Borders. If you feel you have what it takes to be a member of the team, please contact us.
Due to increased demand from schools we require a number of new team members for our 'after school club' teaching roles.
Are you currently working/volunteering in a school but want additional part-time work leading your own class?
Would you like to work in a primary school and gain classroom experience?
ComputerXplorers are searching for top quality people to lead their IT clubs in primary schools. Initially working 5 - 8 hours per week in our after school sessions.
Progression opportunities may exist to work through the school day, covering McCrone time, leading our full-day workshops or holiday camps.
We want you to deliver our active and exciting computer lessons in after school clubs and show children a much broader range of skills than simply MS Office!
Programming, 3D Design, website design & digital animation are among the many courses we run for 5 - 13 year olds.
You should be a confident & enthusiastic computer user but don’t need to be an IT expert. We will give you all the training required and supply all curriculum & lesson plans.
Your classroom management and ability to engage with children are the key skills we are looking for!
You must have experience working with children & the ability to think quickly and adapt lessons to be inclusive of all children in each of your classes.
We require staff in CENTRAL EDINBURGH and WEST EDINBURGH due to increasing demand from schools for our services. You may have to bring equipment to schools therefore having your own transport is essential.
For this, we will reward you with hourly rates between £14 - £16/hour. Continuous training throughout the year and genuine opportunities for progression.
